Jack's Drive 55
Jack’s Drive 55 was born from one family’s fight, and a community that refused to stand still.
In 2019, Jack Giorgio was diagnosed with a low-grade glioma located on his brain stem at just 11 years old. Jack endured a 62-week chemotherapy journey and multiple brain surgeries before finally seeing a positive response to treatment in week 55, a powerful milestone that mirrors his hockey jersey number.
“55” has since become a symbol of perseverance, resilience, and belief in better outcomes.
Founded in 2020 by Jack’s hockey coaches and family, Jack’s Drive 55 has grown from a single hockey tournament into car shows, fishing tournaments, and community fundraising events, all fueled by Jack’s passion, strength, and unwavering positivity.
Driving Research Forward to Make an Impact
Jack’s Drive 55 benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, helping fund critical research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and other institutions focused on pediatric low-grade glioma (PLGG) and treatment resistance.
Pediatric brain tumors remain one of the leading causes of cancer-related death in children. Research funding is essential to develop targeted therapies that overcome tumor resistance and prevent recurrence.
Their message is simple and powerful:
WE GOT THIS.
In 2026, we are honored to stand alongside Jack’s Drive 55 to help drive research forward and support families facing pediatric brain tumors. Together, real impact is possible.
