May 2017 Update

Although it has been a little bit dreary out – Memorial Day is here, the official kickoff of the summer season! As everyone is putting the final touches on their boats for the summer – we have confirmed fish reports for south of the Cape—striped bass are feeding on squid and herring!

The tournament committee is continuing its efforts to insure the Big Game Battle weekend in Nantucket is a success. With slip reservations confirmed for 50 boats and a 6 boat waiting list we are sure to have another positive turnout. It won’t be long before the first tuna run! For everyone who has reached out to us for input, help, and support we thank you. If you would like to be a tournament sponsor, donate raffle or silent auction items, please contact Don or Jamison O’Neill. Enclosed you will also find our suggested sponsorship donations. The more involvement from all participants we will guarantee another weekend to remember, as continuously quoted “Best weekend of the year!”

BGB17May Newsletter  inside you will find letters from the O’Neill Family and Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund with information about this year’s charity efforts. We are excited to be partnered with The Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute and The Jimmy Fund. We have attached a link that will direct you to our online donations page with instructions on how to donate.
